Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has said that the 2025 State Budget has been designed to maintain stability, especially amid geopolitical challenges."Our 2025 State Budget is designed to maintain stability, inclusiveness, sustainability, with caution," he highlighted at the submission of the 2025 Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and Transfer to Regions Allocation List (TKD) here on Tuesday.
"We have high ideals but we must continue to carry out economic control prudently, carefully, and (in a) well-planned (manner)," he added.
Prabowo noted that current global geopolitical conditions are in a state of uncertainty with increasing tensions due to war and competition between major countries. These conditions, according to him, have resulted in economic uncertainty, and even a tendency for economic growth to slow in some countries.
He emphasized that the peaceful and stable conditions in Indonesia are natural and normal, though they are considered unusual in many countries.

"Even countries that we consider more advanced than us are currently facing military emergency and other tensions. We must even be aware that, at any time, conditions may worsen," Prabowo added.
Therefore, the President requested that government spending in the 2025 State Budget be utilized with efficiency or savings in all areas. He asked regional leaders to combat budget leaks and to allocate the state budget only for the benefit of the people.

"We must ensure that every rupiah of the people's money reaches the people who need it. We must no longer tolerate leaks, wasteful spending, things that do not directly address people's difficulties, things that are not productive," Prabowo emphasized.
He also invited all elements of society to reduce ceremonial or inauguration expenditures, cut down study or seminar activities, and focus more on solving problems directly.
