Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta provincial government and the Ministry of Transportation have agreed to accelerate mass transit integration in the capital, Governor Pramono Anung said.He noted that his meeting with Transportation Minister Dudy Purwaghandi on Monday produced several concrete approvals, including the development of the Dukuh Atas Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and the merger of Karet Station and BNI City Station.

Anung stressed that the central government's approvals are crucial for advancing major projects. A primary focus is the TOD development spanning from Jenderal Sudirman Street to Dukuh Atas Station. The hub will connect four main transportation modes — LRT, MRT, commuter rail, and the airport train — ensuring passengers transferring through Dukuh Atas "will no longer be exposed to rain."
