Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Alms Agency (Baznas) has launched mobile clinic services to provide medical aid to Palestinian refugees in Jordan.

The services were established in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

"Baznas and JHCO are cooperating with the Medical Aid for Palestinians to provide doctors, nurses, and medicines at the mobile clinic that is traveling to locations of refugees, which is serving approximately four thousand refugees," Baznas chairman Noor Achmad informed in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

The mobile clinic is specifically designed to reach refugee camps, particularly those with limited access to healthcare. In addition to Palestinian refugees, the facility can also serve refugees from Syria and Sudan.

"This mobile clinic will improve access to faster and more convenient healthcare services for refugees. Baznas is committed to providing the best possible assistance to those in need," Achmad added.

He expressed hope that the mobile clinic will alleviate the suffering of Palestinians and other refugees affected by war.
