Be patient in waiting for work program results: Prabowo

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has asked the people to be patient in waiting for the results of various government work programs.During the 2024 National Christmas Celebration in Jakarta on Saturday, he said that his government's performance in its first two months has been relatively good.

He also praised his Cabinet ministers for their hard work in delivering the best results expected by all Indonesians.

"I pray to God to give me the strength to give results to the people as soon as possible. However, I do not want to lie to the people," Prabowo said.

"Just like planting, we must plant them well, prepare the land, find irrigation, look for good seeds. We plant them well, we care for them, we water them, we guard them. God willing, the harvest will be good, my brothers and sisters," he added.

According to Prabowo, the government is currently facing many challenges in its efforts to do its best for the people, especially in eradicating corruption.

"The corruptors, the thieves are not willing to see an Indonesian government that wants to improve itself, wants to clean itself up," he said.

He added that despite the challenges, he is determined to fight with his heart and soul to safeguard the interests of the people, protect the country's wealth, uphold truth and law, as well as eradicate corruption.

"Come unite with us, as the people demand a clean government. I was elected by the people on behalf of the Indonesian people. I emphasize, all Indonesian government officials, clean yourselves!" he added.
