Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto met Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani at his residence in Bogor, West Java, on Sunday to discuss Rp100 trillion (US$6 billion) downstreaming projects.In an Instagram post cited in Jakarta, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that the projects are being managed by Danantara, Indonesia’s investment and sovereign wealth manager, where Roeslani serves as chief executive officer.
“Groundbreaking ceremonies for five downstreaming projects of Danantara are scheduled to take place early next month,” he said, noting that the government envisions the projects as a way to strengthen Indonesia’s industrial ecosystem.

Wijaya added that the Bogor meeting also reviewed progress in the national waste-to-energy program, which aims to improve landfill management and generate greater economic benefits through eco-friendly waste processing.
“The goal is to reduce the volume of waste at open landfills while creating economic value,” he stated.
