Makassar, S Sulawesi (ANTARA) - A suicide bomber exploded himself in the entrance of Cathedral Church in the South Sulawesi provincial capital of Makassar on Sunday morning.

A body part and damaged motorcycle were found in the scene.

An eyewitness said he heard strong explosion which drew attention from nearby residents.

The police are still investigating the bomb blast.

No party has claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack.
