Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati held a discussion with Saudi Arabian Finance Minister Muhammad Al Jadaan and Qatari Finance Minister Ali Al-Kuwari regarding the impact of the Iran-Israel conflict. The discussion was held on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, China, on Tuesday.

“We discussed the ongoing war situation in the Middle East and the negative impact on the humanitarian aspect, along with the uncertainty that resulted in the downward trend of the world economy,” she said in a post on her official Instagram account @smindrawati on Wednesday.

According to Indrawati, all parties expressed the hope that the tensions in the Middle East will ease and a peace agreement will be realized soon for the sake of all humanity.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that there was no ceasefire “agreement” between Iran and Israel. However, Iran would refrain from further retaliatory attacks if Israeli attacks stopped at 4 a.m. Tehran time, he added.
