Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Fajar Riza Ul Haq, has told schools that the School Revitalization program is not solely concerned with physical infrastructure construction, but a joint effort to boost national education quality.

According to Haq, the improvement or construction of school infrastructure must be accompanied by a change in mindset and a spirit to innovate continuously.

“This is a vital part of our commitment to improving the education ecosystem,” he said in Jakarta on Thursday.

He emphasized the role and responsibility of all parties, especially formal educational institutions, to equip students with greater adaptability, critical thinking, and multidisciplinary learning skills to prepare them for the rapidly changing industrial world.

Fajar also underscored the importance of vocational high school graduates upholding the values of humanity, empathy, and solidarity amid the digital transformation era, when artificial intelligence (AI) use is becoming increasingly common.
