Jakarta (ANTARA) - People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Speaker Ahmad Muzani assessed that Indonesia under President Prabowo Subianto's leadership has become increasingly respected in the eyes of the world, particularly in the Middle East.
"Indonesia under President Prabowo Subianto is highly respected in the Middle East," Muzani said at the National Conference of the Middle East Alumni Association (JATTI) in Jakarta on Saturday.
According to Muzani, Prabowo's leadership has gained increasing recognition internationally, especially after delivering a speech about Palestine at the United Nations.
In his speech, Prabowo supported global peace, including Palestine and all conflict zones in the world.

"The president's speech was considered to bring a new perspective and way of thinking about world order, religious dialogue, and dialogue between Eastern and Western," he said.
Muzani said that the speech acquired positive responses from the President of the United States to the Israeli Prime Minister—a rare occurrence for a head of state.

"If we observe, there has never been such a positive response from America and Israel to a speech by a head of state other than Indonesia," he said.
Muzani hopes that the positive changes shown by President Prabowo will bolster the Palestinian people's struggle for independence. He also hopes that Prabowo's speech will increase global recognition of Indonesia.
