Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah said the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs has built 104 permanent housing units for flood and landslide victims in Gampong Kuala Cangkoi, Lapang District, North Aceh.
“We appreciate the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs’ swift response in building permanent housing for flood and landslide victims in North Aceh,” Fadhlullah said in Aceh on Wednesday.
The deputy governor made the statement while accompanying Coordinating Minister Djamari Chaniago during an inspection of the readiness of the permanent housing construction for disaster-affected residents in North Aceh.
He explained that all type-36 housing units are equipped with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and basic furnishings.

“Once again, we express our gratitude to Coordinating Minister Chaniago. This assistance will certainly be very beneficial,” he said, noting that the visit was also attended by North Aceh Regent Ismail A. Jalil.
Meanwhile, Chaniago said the visit aimed to ensure that all preparations for the construction were complete, both technically and administratively.

He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to completing the construction of the 104 permanent housing units, including a mushalla, before the month of Ramadan.
“Today, we ensured that all preparations for the construction are in place. We hope the project will be completed before Ramadan so that residents can live and worship comfortably,” he said.
