Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot Tanjung ensured that the national fuel oil supply is secure, with national stock reaching up to 28 days, to meet the needs of the Eid homecoming.“Nationally, the fuel supply is also far above the minimum threshold. The average national stock resilience is around 27 to 28 days, while the minimum reserve regulated under the rules is about 21 days,” Tanjung said here on Monday.

Regarding Prabowo Subianto’s directive on energy efficiency, he said that government will take various evaluation measures on energy use, including the use of fuel for power plants and gas utilization.

In addition, evaluations will also be carried out on operational aspects across various sectors to improve the efficiency of energy use.

Tanjung added that the government will also pay attention to energy services along the main routes for the homecoming, including toll roads and primary access routes to travelers’ destinations and tourist areas.

“The anticipatory measures include preparing tanks in several specific areas as well as additional services such as motorist services and other mobile services arranged by Pertamina,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of state oil and gas subholding Pertamina Patra Niaga, Taufik Aditiyawarman, said the company is ensuring fuel and LPG availability in line with the government’s national minimum stock provisions.

He explained that to anticipate energy demand during Ramadan and Eid, Pertamina activated a task force on March 9, 2026, and coordinated with various parties, including the police and the ministry’s national command post.

“Under any circumstances, we will maintain fuel availability for the public. We have also prepared additional services, such as motorist assistance, modular units, and fuel tanker trucks,” Aditiyawarman said.
