Creative Economy Agency Holds Food Startup Indonesia In Mataram

Mataram, (Antara) - The Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) is holding a road show on Food Startup Indonesia competition and conference in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara province.

Bekraf`s Non-Banking Access Director, Sugeng Santoso, stated here on Monday that the event invites businesses, especially those engaged in culinary services and production, to create good economic ecosystem in Indonesia.

"We hope that this event would develop the culinary sector in the country, especially in Mataram. We also hope that the people will understand how to maximize food startup potentials, form good ecosystems, open access to capital from the government and private sector, and market their products to a wider market, including global markets," Santoso remarked.

Before holding the event in Mataram, Bekraf has organized the same agenda in Medan (North Sumatra), he explained.

After Mataram, the road show will also be held in Makassar (South Sulawesi), Surabaya (East Java), and Jakarta, he noted.

Bekraf also invites culinary-supporting businesses, culinary communities, culinary practitioners, media, and financial institutions.

Bekraf is a non-ministerial institution responsible for the creative economy sector.

Bekraf assists the government in formulating, assigning, coordinating, and synchronizing creative economy policy.

Some fields managed by Bekraf include game application and development, architecture, interior design, visual communication design, product design, fashion, culinary, audio visual, and arts.(*)
