He is scheduled to leave for Nusantara on August 11, acting head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) and Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Minister, Basuki Hadimuljono, informed on Thursday."The plan is to hold a Cabinet meeting on August 12," Hadimuljono said.
The President will be in the new capital from August 11–13 and return to Jakarta on August 14. The Head of State previously said that the Cabinet meeting will be held after all supporting infrastructure such as electricity, furniture, and air conditioning have been readied.
Hadimuljono said that the State Secretariat has sent furniture to IKN Nusantara. Ahead of the Seconds to the Independence Proclamation Ceremony on August 17 in IKN Nusantara, roads in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) have been made functional. The Ceremony Square, the Garuda Palace, and the State Palace have been readied as well.
From August 11–13, President Widodo is scheduled to launch the groundbreaking of five projects, including the Bank BCA office, Indogrosir, and Swiss-Belhotel. He has also invited all governors, district heads, and mayors to observe Nusantara's progress on August 13, Hadimuljono informed.

Meanwhile, the acting deputy head of OIKN, Raja Juli Antoni, said that health services for state events at IKN are being prepared under the coordination of the Health Ministry and other related parties.
OIKN and the ministry are committed to providing the best health services to guests and invitees and all personnel involved in the series of state events leading up to the 79th Independence Day ceremony at IKN Nusantara.
