Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia has welcomed the latest resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which demands an end to Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian territories within the next 12 months.

"Indonesia stands ready to support the implementation of the Resolution and uphold the two-State solution for a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on its official X account, @Kemlu_RI, on Thursday.

Indonesia is of the view that the resolution supports the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which said that Israel's prolonged and illegal occupation is a violation of the law.
