Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development has said the 20-percent toll tariff discount that will be applied for 10 days during the Eid al-Adha and school holidays is meant to stimulate the community economy."The stimuli in June (2025) are intended to help the community. We want to spur their economy," the ministry's special staff for communication and public information, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said on Wednesday.

The discount is among the government's measures to optimize the state budget to provide benefits to the community, he added. In addition, the government is continuing to formulate an infrastructure policy to ensure the program benefits the community.

State-owned toll operator Jasa Marga and other Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) have released the schedule and list of toll roads offering the 20-percent toll discount.

The discount will be offered on strategic Trans Java sections, including the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, the MBZ Elevated Toll Road, the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road, the Batang-Semarang Toll Road, the Semarang Toll Road Section ABC, and the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road.
