Jakarta (ANTARA) - Citi Indonesia (Citibank, N.A., Indonesia) has formally appointed Occam Komunikasi Indonesia as its new public relations (PR) agency, effective March 25, 2024.“The decision-making process was challenging as we encountered numerous exceptional Indonesian PR consultants in the pitching process.
However, Occam distinguished themselves by demonstrating a deep understanding of our business perspective and communications objectives,” director and country head of public affairs for Citi Indonesia, Puni Ayu Anjungsari, said in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.
Occam will play a pivotal role in augmenting Citi Indonesia’s communication endeavors, including strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s standing as a preeminent banking partner for institutions with cross-border needs, she added.
Occam’s selection was made after a rigorous tender process, held from November 2023 to January 2024, which was followed by comprehensive scoring and evaluations, Anjungsari said.
The evaluation also included an assessment of Occam’s institutional proficiency, service model, and leadership.
“We understand that Citi has a goal-oriented mindset and operates with agility, necessitating a correspondingly adept and reliable communications support,” senior partner and COO, Occam Komunikasi Indonesia, Septa Perdana, said.
“This is where our agency excels, leveraging our experience in catering to clients within the banking sector, our distinctive team structure, and ensuring the deployment of apt consultants within the appointed team to ensure a seamless day-to-day collaboration,” he added.
Moreover, he said that Occam has the required adeptness and nimbleness for effective and efficient executions and firmly believes in fostering partnerships with clients to thrive in today’s ever-changing market.
