Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Communication and Information Technology Ministry highlighted the vital contribution of state civil apparatuses to the progress achieved in the nation's digital transformation.

"State civil apparatus plays an important role in digital transformation in the country. Thus, it is important to offer training on digital literacy," the director of informatics empowerment at the Communication and Information Technology Ministry, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, noted in a written statement received here on Saturday.

The Communication and Information Technology Ministry collaborated with the Home Affairs Ministry to conduct a digital literacy training for trainers, targeting state civil apparatus in the government sector.

Pudjianto said that the event had opened up minds and highlighted the importance of digital literacy. "Just like reading, writing, and arithmetic when we were young, digital literacy cannot be separated from our current lives," he explained.
