Jakarta (ANTARA) - Gerindra Party Executive Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad Ahmad revealed that President-elect Prabowo Subianto would invite more cabinet officials, both deputy ministers and agency heads, for Tuesday's meeting.
"I have not counted the number. However, since there are one or two nominated in one ministry, so there will be a lot," he stated here on Tuesday.
Dasco remarked that the deputy minister and agency head candidates invited by Prabowo today are professional figures. They are nominated for possible cabinet positions for the next five years.
"Hence, indeed, the proposals (names) from political parties, for ministers, heads of agencies, and deputy ministers, are more from professionals," he remarked.

Meanwhile, regarding two ministerial candidates who will reportedly meet with Prabowo on Tuesday, Dasco appealed to all parties to look forward to it. Earlier this week, 49 figures nominated as ministerial candidates were invited to meet President-elect Prabowo Subianto at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, on Monday (Oct 14).
They were summoned to be assigned to ministerial positions that Prabowo had prepared. The figures comprised politicians, academics, and ministers during the era of President Joko Widodo.
